Check 4 — Solenoid ARM

Repeat solenoid tests with CO2 moved to the ARM port — expected results swap. Health Check Idents K through Q.

Check 4 — Solenoid function on ARM

Move the CO2 supply to the ARM port and repeat the solenoid tests. Because CO2 now enters the arm circuit, the expected results for each button swap compared to Check 3. That reversal is the point of the test. This is also the only check that proves the vent path actually flows.

Preconditions

Step 4: Move the CO2 connection

Disconnect from CO2_In

Disconnect the push-to-connect CO2 line from the CO2_In port.

Connect to ARM

Reconnect the CO2 line to the ARM port.

ARM jumper connection

CO2 jumper moved to the ARM connection.

At rest — nothing should flow

With no buttons pressed, confirm no gas is flowing from any port.

Button tests — results are swapped vs Check 3

Note that the expected results are effectively swapped compared with Check 3. That reversal is what proves the routing is correct.

Ident Q is the important one

Check Q is the only point in the Health Check where gas should actually come out of the vent. It is the only test that will catch a vent solenoid stuck closed.

PDown pressed, gas does not pulse through stone1. Rotate the flow meter knob counterclockwise and retest. 2. If still no pulse, change the CO2_in solenoid, stuck CLOSED.
QEnter pressed, gas does not pulse through vent valve1. Check the vent valve itself is OPEN. 2. If it is, change the Vent solenoid, stuck CLOSED.
