Warranty & Service
Warranty coverage for FizzWizz hardware and accessories, what is serviceable in the field, and how to arrange repair or replacement.
Warranty and service
Warranty coverage, what you can service yourself, and how to arrange repairs. Parts and service are handled by Allendale Electronics, the authorized distributor and manufacturer of BrewWizz products — see Support & Parts for contacts.
Warranty coverage
| Product | Warranty | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Ultrasonic Stone Cleaner | 12 months from date of purchase | Back-to-base |
| Battery Backup | 12 months from date of purchase | Back-to-base |
| WizzStone-Combo, Check Valve, sensors, hoses | Contact Support & Parts for current terms | — |
"Back-to-base" means the unit is returned to Allendale Electronics for repair or replacement rather than serviced on site. Contact support before returning anything so the return can be logged against your FizzWizz serial number.
What you can service yourself
Some components are designed to be field-replaceable or field-serviceable. Others are not.
Serviceable in the field
| Task | Guide |
|---|---|
| Cleaning and servicing a solenoid exposed to product | Solenoid Cleaning & Servicing |
| Replacing the check valve's duck bill valve | Check Valve |
| Cleaning carbonation stones (torpedo or ultrasonic method) | WizzStone-Combo |
| Replacing O-rings and cotter pins on the WizzStone-Combo | WizzStone-Combo |
| Replacing solenoids, transducers, and sensors | Support & Parts for ordering |
| Cleaning the Foot Pressure Sensor's tri-clamp face | Foot Pressure Sensor |
A cleaned solenoid is a temporary fix. The solenoids are factory sealed and their long-term reliability cannot be guaranteed after cleaning. Plan to replace it.
Not user-serviceable
| Component | Why |
|---|---|
| Battery Backup internals | Must only be serviced by a trained technician |
| Ultrasonic Stone Cleaner internals | Must only be serviced by a trained technician |
| Epoxy-welded joints (CO₂ connection, isolation valve, check valve, elbow, stone adaptor) | Sealed at the factory and leak tested. Do not attempt to unscrew them — contact support if one leaks |
Before you contact support
Having these ready resolves most cases on the first contact:
- FizzWizz serial number and name
- A completed Results Form with actual measured values, not just pass/fail
- The ident letters of any failed checks (A–X) — see By Symptom
- What you have already tried from the troubleshooting guides
- Whether fluid was found inside the unit
- Whether the arm separator was fitted and functioning
A completed Health Check takes about 30 minutes and eliminates most of the back-and-forth. If you have not run it yet, start at the Health Check Overview.
