System Components
The complete FizzWizz component and accessory range — what each part does, whether you need it, and where to find its guide.
System components
A FizzWizz installation is more than the unit itself. This page is the index to every component and accessory in the system: what it does, when you need it, and where its detailed guide lives.
Component names used throughout this documentation are defined here and in the Glossary.
The FizzWizz unit
The main enclosure contains the manifold, the three solenoids, the flow controller, the pressure transducers, and the electronics. Gas and hose connections are on the outside; the front panel carries the display and the three control buttons.
| Part number | Description |
|---|---|
| FizzWizz-BAE | FizzWizz Bubbles Anywhere Edition, the standard unit |
See FizzWizz at a Glance for features and Specifications for dimensions.
Sensors
Sensors are what let the FizzWizz calculate carbonation. The unit reads product temperature and tank pressure, and uses both to work out the finish pressure.
| Component | Purpose | Required? | Guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| WizzTemp temperature sensor | Reads product temperature, which drives the carbonation calculation | Yes — the unit cannot carbonate correctly without it | Temperature Sensor |
| Foot Pressure Sensor (INS039) | Reads the pressure your packaging line actually sees, eliminating hydrostatic pressure error | Optional — for packaging accuracy | Foot Pressure Sensor |
| WizzKoga Selector | Switches up to six tank temperature sensors between one or two FizzWizz units | Optional — for multi-tank sites | WizzKoga Selector |
| Sensor switch box | Lets a temperature sensor and a Foot Pressure Sensor stay permanently connected to one port | Optional — needed with the Foot Pressure Sensor on a FizzWizz | Foot Pressure Sensor |
Carbonation hardware
The parts that deliver CO₂ into the tank. These are wetted components, so they matter for both carbonation quality and hygiene.
| Component | Purpose | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| WizzStone-Combo | Stainless steel carrier with a thermowell, holding a 16 in ceramic carbonation stone | WizzStone-Combo |
| Carbonation stone | The porous ceramic diffusion element. A dirty stone is a leading cause of low carbonation | WizzStone-Combo |
| Check Valve | One-way valve preventing product flowing back up the CO₂ line | Check Valve |
| Stone adaptor kit | Adapts a Zahm & Nagel 24 in stone to the FizzWizz stone circuit | Check Valve |
| Ultrasonic Stone Cleaner | 10 L ultrasonic tank for deep-cleaning ceramic and stainless stones | Ultrasonic Stone Cleaner |
Pneumatic and hose components
| Component | Purpose | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Stone hose | 5/16 inch ID NSF tubing from the FizzWizz to the stone assembly | Stone Circuit |
| Arm hose | Connects the ARM port to the tank head | Arm Circuit & Separator |
| Separator | Catches liquid and foam before it reaches the unit. The single most important protective component | Arm Circuit & Separator |
| Swiffer valve | Drain valve on the separator | Arm Circuit & Separator |
| Push-to-connect fittings | Quick-release connectors. A common source of small leaks | Stone Circuit |
| Jumper hose | Push-to-connect hose used to move the CO₂ supply between ports during testing | Health Check Overview |
Power
| Component | Purpose | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Power supply (wall-wart) | Supplies power to the FizzWizz. A green light confirms it is functional | Power Connection |
| Battery Backup | Keeps the unit running through brownouts and short power cuts — about 1 hour on a full charge | Battery Backup |
Software
| Component | Purpose | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| BrewWizz Dashboard | Web monitoring: device health, telemetry charts, alerts, and billing | Dashboard Overview |
| BrewWizz mobile app | Phone monitoring — currently in development | Mobile App Overview |
| BrewWizz web app | Carbonation calculators, free for all brewers, plus remote monitoring once connected | WizzStone-Combo |
