Components & Controls
Identify the PacWizz enclosure, foot pressure sensor, hoses, dual gas connector, purging valve, and the Up, Down, and Enter controls.
What comes with your PacWizz?
Check your supplied parts before starting. The remote motorized ball-valve is supplied only with purging versions.
| Part | Quantity | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| PacWizz main enclosure | 1 | Contains the display, pushbuttons, and quick connections for gas supply and the tank. |
| Foot Pressure Sensor | 1 | Measures liquid or gas pressure. Made from 316 stainless steel with a 1½-inch tri-clamp connection. It can be used at the arm or at the tank foot, depending on your packaging setup. |
| Brite hose | 1 | A 10 ft, 5/16-inch push-to-connect hose with a stainless steel industrial click-to-connect fitting. |
| Remote Motorized Ball-valve (RMB) | 1, purging versions only | Opens the tank's vent path during purging. Has a 1½-inch tri-clamp fitting. |
| Dual CO₂-in connector | 1 | Connects to the gas inlet so two regulators can supply the unit. See Purge Times & Gas Supply. |
The packaging instructions also refer to a supplied tri-clamp tee (T fitting). You will need suitable tank fittings and isolation valves for your chosen connection arrangement; check these before installation. If anything is missing or unfamiliar, contact BrewWizz.
The front panel

Use the printed button labels, not just their colours, to identify the controls.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Up / Down | Move the selection arrow between modes or change the selected pressure or cycle value. |
| Enter | Confirm a selection or value. |
| Display | Shows the current mode, setup values, connection warnings, and pressure/time information. |
On Mode Selection, move the flashing selection arrow to the option you want, then press Enter:
- Packaging — manages tank pressure during filling; does not vent.
- Tank Purge — automates pressurizing and venting on a purging-equipped unit.

Reference display photo from the manual. You do not need to open the enclosure to use these controls.
Connection names
- CO₂ IN: gas supply from your regulator arrangement.
- Brite: gas delivery connection to the tank. Its destination changes only for the assisted manual carbonation method.
- Foot Pressure Sensor: provides the pressure measurement used for control.
- RMB: the remote motorized ball-valve used to control exhaust during a purge.
Follow the connection guide for your task rather than the product name on a fitting alone:
A few terms you will see
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Brite tank | The tank holding your beverage before packaging or transfer. |
| Headspace | The gas-filled space above the beverage. |
| Foot pressure | Pressure measured at the bottom of the tank: headspace pressure plus pressure from the liquid above the sensor. |
| Hydrostatic pressure | The pressure caused by the height of liquid above a measurement point. It decreases as the tank empties. |
| CIP arm | The tank's clean-in-place arm, used as a connection point in these setups. |
| PRV | Pressure relief valve: the tank's pressure-safety device. |
| psi | Pounds per square inch, the pressure unit shown on the PacWizz. |
