Signing In & Account Setup

How BrewWizz accounts and organisations work — signing in, organisation assignment, and why an unassigned account shows no devices.

Signing in and account setup

The BrewWizz dashboard runs at bw-dash.allendale.biz. Before you can see any devices, two things need to be true: you have an account, and that account is assigned to an organisation.

Signing in

  1. Go to bw-dash.allendale.biz.
  2. Sign in with your email address and password.
  3. You land on your organisation's dashboard.

If you have forgotten your password, use the reset flow. After completing the reset in your browser, sign in again with the new password.

Accounts and organisations

BrewWizz organises everything around organisations. Devices belong to an organisation; users are assigned to an organisation. You see the devices, alerts, and billing for the organisation your account is assigned to.

The no-organization state cannot be bypassed. If your account has not been assigned to an organisation, the dashboard and mobile app will not show any devices, alerts, or telemetry — no matter how many FizzWizz units you have installed and online.

This is the most common cause of "no devices showing", and it is easy to mistake for a device problem. If your devices are missing entirely, check this first.

Who assigns accounts

Organisation assignment is done by an administrator for your organisation. If you are not sure who that is, contact Support & Parts.

After you are assigned

Once your administrator confirms the assignment, refresh the dashboard. The dashboard updates automatically when your assignment or plan changes — you do not need to sign out and back in.

What you see depends on your plan

The dashboard adapts to your plan and subscription status. Menu items you expect may be missing:

What you seeWhat it means
Notifications menu item missingYour plan does not include alert rules, email notifications, or SMS notifications
Upgrade shown in the menuYou do not have an active or trial subscription
Device alert rules are read-onlyYour plan includes in-app alerts only

See Understanding Your Plan for the full feature matrix, and Billing & Subscriptions to start or fix a subscription.

After signing in

Once you can see the dashboard, the usual next steps are:

  1. Add and claim your devices so they appear in your device list.
  2. Review device health to confirm they are reporting.
  3. Configure alert rules for the thresholds that matter to you.
  4. Set notification preferences so alerts reach you.

Signing in to the mobile app

The mobile app uses the same account and shows the same devices and alerts. It is currently in development.

If the app signs you in but you stay on a No organization screen, the cause is the same organisation assignment described above.
