Device Detail & Charts
Using the BrewWizz device detail page — telemetry charts, recent readings, device metadata, and per-device alert rules.
Device detail and charts
The device detail page is where you inspect a single FizzWizz in depth. Open it by selecting a device from the device list.
What the page shows
| Section | Contents |
|---|---|
| Telemetry charts | Pressure and temperature plotted over time, updating automatically as new readings arrive |
| Recent readings | The latest values from the unit |
| Device metadata | Serial number, name, firmware version |
| Health badge | The device's current reporting state |
| Alert rules | Thresholds for this device — editable if your plan includes alert rules, otherwise read-only |
If your plan does not include alert rules, the page still opens but the alert rules section is read-only. See Understanding Your Plan.
Reading the charts
The charts show the same values the front panel displays, but with history — which is what makes them useful.
| Metric | What to look for |
|---|---|
| CO₂ reg psi | Should hold steady at your regulator setting. A steady decline means the CO₂ supply is running low |
| Brite psi | Should climb steadily during carbonation toward the finish pressure, then hold |
| Temperature | Should be stable. Drift shifts the required finish pressure with it |
What a healthy carbonation run looks like
During a normal run:
- Temperature holds steady at the setpoint for the product.
- CO₂ reg psi stays flat at 30–40 psi.
- Brite psi climbs as CO₂ dissolves, then flattens as the tank approaches the finish pressure for the target carbonation.
The FizzWizz recalculates the required finish pressure continuously as conditions change, so the plateau may shift slightly if temperature moves.
What problem patterns look like
| Pattern | Likely cause | Where to go |
|---|---|---|
| Brite psi flat, never climbing | A leak in the arm or stone circuit | Carbonation & Brite Pressure |
| Brite psi climbing unusually fast | Leaking Head_Transfer solenoid, or a broken stone | Check 6 — Leak Testing |
| CO₂ reg psi declining steadily | CO₂ supply running low | Responding to Alerts |
| Temperature drifting or stepping | WizzTemp probe, loom, or glycol | Slushy WizzTemp Test |
| Temperature implausibly low or high | Faulty probe or internal loom | Slushy WizzTemp Test |
| A gap in the data | Device went Stale or Offline | Device Offline or Not Reporting |
| Pressure sawtooth pattern | Vent or solenoid cycling unexpectedly | By Symptom |
Recent readings
The readings panel gives the latest values without needing to interpret a chart. This is the fastest way to answer "what is it doing right now?" — useful when checking on a device from your phone.
Device metadata
Metadata confirms you are looking at the right unit and helps support:
| Field | Use |
|---|---|
| Serial number | Quote this when ordering parts or contacting support |
| Name | Confirms which tank this unit serves |
| Firmware version | Support will ask for this. Some features — such as the Foot Pressure Sensor — need V2 code or newer |
Check the firmware version when installing a Foot Pressure Sensor. It requires FizzWizz-BAE running V2 code or newer. If your unit runs earlier code, contact support about updating it.
Alert rules on this page
Each device has its own alert thresholds. If your plan includes alert rules, you can create and edit them here; if not, they are read-only.
See Alerts & Alert Rules for how rules are evaluated, cooldowns, and where alert history appears.
Using charts for quality control
Because the dashboard retains the full run, you can keep telemetry as a batch record:
- Correlate a finished batch's carbonation result against the pressure and temperature trace it was produced under
- Investigate an off-target batch by finding where the trace diverged from a good run
- Confirm a batch stayed on track through a device outage
