Ultrasonic Stone Cleaner
Using the BrewWizz ultrasonic cleaner to clean ceramic and stainless steel carbonation stones.
The BrewWizz ultrasonic cleaner is used to clean BrewWizz ceramic and stainless steel carbonation stones.
Do not run the heater or timer when the tank is empty. Always fill to the indented fill line (approximately 10 L) before switching anything on.

Cleaning carbonation stones
The cleaning and rinse water is hot enough to scald. Wear protective gloves when filling, handling stones, and draining the tank.
Fill the tank
Fill the tank to the indented line (approximately 10 L) with hot water from the hot liquor tank or another hot water supply.
Add detergent
Add about two teaspoons (8 g) of a caustic detergent such as PBW and stir until it dissolves.
Set the temperature
Set the heater dial to 65 °C to keep the water at temperature.
Soak the stones
Place the stones in the basket in the tank and leave them to soak for a few hours, or overnight if possible.
Run the ultrasonic cycle
Turn the timer dial to 20 minutes. Check that the timer dial is moving, which confirms the cycle has started.
Check the water
When the cycle finishes, check the water colour. If the stones were very dirty, drain the tank, refill it with fresh hot water and detergent, and run another 20-minute cycle. You can skip the soak on repeat cycles.
Rinse
Drain the cleaning water through the ball valve and refill the tank with fresh hot water. Turn the timer dial to 20 minutes and again check that it is moving.
Reassemble the WizzStone-Combo
Remove the stones and reassemble the WizzStone-Combo.
Remember to refit the retaining pin when reassembling the WizzStone-Combo.

Limitations of use
- Do not operate the heater or timer when the tank is empty.
- Hot water can scald. Wear protective gloves.
- The cleaner must only be serviced by a trained technician.
