Mounting the Unit
Where and how to mount the FizzWizz BAE — surface choice, clearances, and hose routing considerations.
Mounting the unit
The FizzWizz mounts to a wall, a tank, or another surface. The unit itself is small — 6 × 10.6 × 5.7 in (15.2 × 26.9 × 14.5 cm) — so the real decisions are about access and hose routing rather than space.
Power the unit OFF before making or breaking any hose or sensor connections. See Power Connection.
Choosing a location

| Reach the flow controller | The flow controller is on the side of the unit. You adjust it during setup and whenever flow rate needs changing |
| Hose runs | The unit must be within reach of both the stone hose run and the arm hose run |
| Wi-Fi coverage | The unit reports over Wi-Fi. Test signal at the mounting point before committing |
| Distance from washdown | The unit is not waterproof and not designed for direct spray. Mount clear of routine washdown |
| Ambient conditions | Avoid locations with heavy condensation, direct heat, or glycol line runs that could drip onto the enclosure |
| Cable routing | The power supply and sensor cables should reach without strain |
Mounting the enclosure
The unit mounts to a wall, a tank, or another flat surface.
Confirm the surface is suitable
The surface should be flat, rigid, and able to carry the weight of the unit plus the strain of the connected hoses. A tank-mounted installation should use a bracket rated for the tank surface.
Position the unit
Position it so the front panel and the side flow controller are both accessible, and so both hoses reach their connections without being pulled taut. Leave enough slack in the arm hose to reach the tank head.
Fix the unit in place
Secure the enclosure to the surface. Check that it cannot move when the hoses are connected or when buttons are pressed.
Check clearances
Confirm you can reach the front panel comfortably, turn the flow controller knob through its full range, and access the CO₂, stone, and arm connections.
Mounting the arm separator
The separator is a separate component that sits between the ARM port and the tank head. Mount it so that it hangs or sits below the arm hose run where possible, so liquid and foam collect in the separator rather than travelling toward the unit.
The separator is the single most important component for protecting the FizzWizz from fluid ingress. Mount it where you can see it and reach the swiffer valve for draining — you will need to check it during Check 6 and drain it when it fills.
